I was introduced to boxing at age 7 by my grandfather. I
trained for a few years then finally had my first match at age 9,
becoming one of the best boxers in my weight class in California
and winning numerous bouts and tournaments.
To coach concepts that promotes health, fun and most importantly, Boxing. And Coach techniques that bring these concepts to
life.
I enlisted in the United States Army in 1994 and joined the
World Class Athletes Program (WCAP) for Boxing where I became
6-time all army, Armed forces Champion and won the Bronze in the
1998 Goodwill Games in New York. I was 1999 U.S. National
Challenge Champion, 5th in the World Championships, part of the
U.S. boxing World Team Champions in 1999 and also 1st place in
Nationals Championships.
